Concentrate on what is good and you will find that good things will continue to surround you! Lift up God’s name in praise constantly and you will find that God protection will constantly surround you! If you make a habit of doing these things your world will open up like never before.

In our instant/automatic world, we have become so used to things happening right away. Gone are the days of putting popcorn in a pot with some oil, and waiting on the popcorn to pop. Waiting has become obsolete in this modern era. We have changed the way that we do things. I think back to the days when there were photo labs. When you would take a picture and have to wait for the pictures to come back from the lab. When you would get the pictures back, you would get the negatives back as well. I can remember as a child looking at the negatives and trying to figure out how they got a full picture from them. They were often times hard to see unless you put them up to the light. The film labs used to use a dark room in order to develop the film. They didn’t want to get the film over exposed. Too much light would end up overexposing the film, and it would be ruined. If the film gets too much light too soon, then it would not be able to be developed at all.
Dear Reader, the good news today is that God is the same today as he always was. The same God that parted the waters of the Red Sea, is the same God that is making a way for you. He is not an instant results God. Sometimes in order to develop the picture of your life, He has to do it in a dark room. Sometimes we want the light, but we can’t handle to much light because the light that we want would ruin the picture. God wants to develop our picture with perfect color and impeccable clarity. When we get our pictures back there will be some negatives that are going to come with the pictures. You will find that there are people who will want to look at the negatives instead of the pictures. Don’t let those people bother you Dear Reader. I want you to take the negative and hold it up the light. Let them see that what they are looking at is the picture before it was developed. Let them know that God can take your negatives and make a full color, bright , picture out of it. When you are in the dark room don’t worry about the darkness. That’s just God protecting you from the light that you are not ready to handle just yet. I can tell you that I have been in some dark rooms. I can tell you that sometimes it didn’t seem like my negatives were going to develop. But, low and behold Dear Reader, here I stand. God is not slow, God is right on time. Whatever you are going through know that you are just in the development process. You are the Masterpiece that God has created you to be.
