Family Matters

I cannot tell you enough that you are special no matter what anyone else has to say….you are still here and you are still at your best…smile for me!

Good day to you all!  Be determined today that you are not going to let anyone put a lampshade over the light that God has put in you.  When you shine you are lighting someone else’s path.

I know that sometimes our family can be a challenge. We all have people in our family that can be difficult to deal with at times, but we love them still because they are related to you by blood. Whether it’s a demanding aunt, or a selfish cousin, we find ourselves over looking their flaws and loving them anyway.

Dear reader on this Thursday morning I want to give you something to smile about today.  Do you know that the one that created the seas, the mountains, and the wind, considers you to be His family? The King of Kings has a crown for you that no man can take off of your head. Think about that the next time that someone judges the outside and does not see what is inside of you. God wants you to look at Him like a father, and believe me when I tell you that to God almighty, Family Matters.

Sometimes it can feel like no one cares about you, or what is going on in your life.  I know that at times it is difficult to find an ear that will listen and not judge. Whenever you feel like that, stop and look up. You don’t have to look up with physical eyes, but with eyes of the spirit, and talk to your Father.  He has promised that He will be faithful to be there for us, and provide us with everything that we need.  Even though sometime we can be a challenge, a little demanding at times, and sometimes a little selfish, God still loves us because we are related to Him by the blood of Jesus Christ.  God not only over looks our flaws, but He will often times use our flaws for His good. Try God and I guarantee that you will not be disappointed.

I am your brother, and I am praying the best for each and every one of you

You are beautiful, loved, and blessed

John Reed
