The New Campaign

You are awake, you are alive and you are here!  Three reasons for you to smile, and on this day I want to encourage you to do so.  Did you know that your smile can help someone make it through the day?  Did you know that your words can change someone’s life?  You are important in so many ways, and God has so many ways that He can use you!  Rejoice and be a fire on someone’s cold day!

Good day to everyone that is reading these words!  I appreciate you all, and I want you all to know what a blessing you are to me!  Thank you, thank you, thank you!

As we get ready for another election season, I thought that I would take time to warn you about a candidate seeking to get your vote.  This candidate wants to get as many people to listen to him and follow him every step of the way.  His campaign promises are not very promising, but he can definitely follow through with them.  As a matter of fact he is not even waiting on 2012 to run for office.  His name is Fear.  He runs for office everyday and when we vote for him he sets up office in our minds.  Everyday people vote for him, and when they do he runs their life. Fear keeps its voters unhappy, in financial ruins, and hopeless.  These are the campaign promises that Fear runs on and yet, he gets people to vote for him daily.

My fellow Americans I am here to offer you an alternative.  On this day I want you to know that Fear is not the only candidate in the race.  If you need some hope, and you want to see some change, Dear Reader I am proud to endorse Jesus as the candidate to choose.  His record for saving lives is impeccable.  His record for saving souls is unbeatable. If you want change that you can believe in, I encourage you to believe in God and you will see monumental change in your life.  The next time you go to vote on what kind of day you are going to have, what kind of life you are going to live, who you are going to follow, make a decision to trust Jesus. The candidate that I present to you will never leave you or forsake you.  He is an unaffected by financial crisis because He owns every mountain and every hill.  The storms may come, but He will provide shelter. The Bible lists His campaign promises and I am a witness to you today that He will keep each and every one of them.  I want you to determine today that you are going to impeach fear, and elect the only candidate that cares about you.  The only candidate that has your best interest in mind.  The only candidate that put His life on the line for you.  I want to encourage you today to choose Jesus.
