There is always someone that for some reason or another has something negative to say about us.  Often times we don’t even know this individual well, or in some cases we may not know them at all. However, they have managed to form an opinion about us and even have the nerve to voice that opinion to some more folks that may or may not know you. When this happens to you, I encourage you to rejoice.  I say rejoice because this is an opportunity to prove them wrong. Don’t get caught up in what people say about you because more than likely they are only seeing the outside.  God knows your heart and in spite of what anyone says about you, He see’s the best in you. Always remember:“You can not control what others think of you, you can only control if they are right or wrong”.  In modern terms it is said that they are hating on you, however dear reader I want you to know the power of love is much stronger.  There is an umbrella of love that surrounds us all, it is up to us whether or not we stand under that umbrella or if we choose to stand in the rain.

I encourage you to surround yourself with love, concentrate on those that love you and pray for you, and I promise the hate that others have intended for you will not touch you.  It is impossible for anyone to hate on you when you are surrounded by love. I remember the old infomercials that used to come on advertising a “miracle’ car wax that would protect your  car against anything, even fire. They would light the car on fire put the fire out, polish the car up and it would shine like nothing ever happened. Let the love of God and the people that are closest to you be like that wax. No matter what happens to you, all you have to do is polish yourself up and continue to shine. You will indeed be hate proof.
