Love come quick, Love come in a hurry, there are thieves in the temple tonight-Prince
A few months ago someone broke into my car and stole my radio. Anyone that knows me knows that I am a music fanatic, so me without a radio in my car is a major issue. On that morning while waiting on the police to come out so that I could fill out a report, I prayed for clarity on how I should deal with this situation. I realized that God was giving me someone new to pray for. I took it as a blessing that God wanted me to put this person in my prayer life, and now along with all of you, and my family, I pray for the individual who stole my radio. Understand dear reader that they can take the music out of my car, but they cannot take the song out of my heart.
I want to encourage you all to watch out for the thieves in the temple. We all do everything that we can to secure our car, our homes, even our email passwords. We secure our cell phones with pass codes and patterns, but often we love our joy open and unlocked. We allow anyone, or anything to come into our temple and steal our joy. Dear reader, on this Monday morning I want you to know that your joy is more precious than anything that money can buy and we need to encode, encrypt, password protect, padlock, set up a PIN number and put a combination lock around your joy. Often times we know the thieves. We know the people that are out to steal our joy, but we let them in anyway. Be determined, and tell yourself, “ My joy is going to remain with me, and no one is going to take it away!”
Today is another opportunity for you to be everything that God made you to be. I am excited for each of you because there is unlimited potential for you to live abundantly, and to have abundant joy.
You are beautiful, loved and blessed
John Reed
