Don't You Worry 'Bout A Thing

It’s a new day and God has seen you through yesterday’s problems, and is bringing you closer to your destiny. Be excited about today, and learn the lessons that yesterday taught so that you can be prepared for tomorrow. There is nothing wrong with falling down, however there is something terribly wrong with staying down. Remain prayerful, and never let anyone take you away from the love that God has for you!
Good day to you all! God does His best work behind the scenes, so don’t let your eyes fool you into thinking that there is nothing special going on in your life. You just can’t see it at this moment, but time will reveal, and the glory of God will be illustrated to you and the world!
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
Everybody needs a change
A chance to check out the new
But you're the only one to see
The changes you take yourself through -Don’t You Worry ‘Bout A Thing-Stevie Wonder
There is nothing like a Sunday afternoon drive with the windows down, and a good Stevie Wonder CD playing. I have been a Stevie Wonder fan since I was a child, and since becoming an adult I am amazed at how insightful his lyrics are. He manages to blend soulful sounds, and soul-felt lyrics into urban harmony’s that take us back to a good place in our life. One of my favorite songs is “Don’t You Worry ‘Bout A Thing”. In this song Steve tells the listener that they don’t have anything to worry about. Stevie also makes mention that the worry that the person is going through is worry that they put themselves through. The song makes a great point because often we forget who is in charge of our situations. Often we pick up things that were not meant for us to pick up and then complain about how heavy those things are. God has told us to leave the heavy lifting to Him. Don’t you worry bout a thing.
They say your style of life's a drag
And that you must go other places
But just don't you feel too bad
When you get fooled by smiling faces but-Don’t You Worry ‘Bout A Thing, Stevie Wonder
Dear Reader God has not forgotten about you. There is someone that needs to know that God is still the same God today that He has always been. The same God that parted the waters for Moses, so that the wetlands would be dry ground for the he and the Israelites to cross. The same God that made the lions go on a fast when Daniel entered so that their desire to eat meat was gone. He is the same God that stepped down from Heaven and became just like you and me so that He could defeat death, by being crucified on a Friday and coming back to life early one Sunday morning with all power in His hands. He is the same God that has been with you through your lion’s den when the world was supposed to have eaten you alive but you came out without a scratch. I know that there were times when the enemy was chasing you down but God opened up a way out of no way. There are no dead ends when you worship a God that is still in the resurrection business. God will turn those dead ends into fresh starts so that you can be a living witness to the power, grace, and mercy of God! . You are going to have those people that are going to want to stop you. You are going to have people that are going to be rooting for your failure, but Dear Reader, don’t you worry ‘bout a thing! You are going to make it out Dear Reader, don’t you worry ‘bout a thing!
You are beautiful, loved, and blessed
John Reed
